This meeting is open to everyone, including members, non-members, and anyone curious about what we do. Feel free to invite others who might be interested. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow ham radio enthusiasts.
The suggested attire is a yellow County or ARES shirt and your ACS ID (since this is a county facility.) If you are ACS and don’t have the new shirt, you can get it here.
Agenda:
- Updates on upcoming events and a review of recent ones
- Progress reports on EOC and infrastructure systems
- An update on the ACS-ARES web portal
- Information on the HF net
- An overview of Winlink activities
- A report from the ARRL Section Manager
As a special treat, we will have a presentation by our resident propagation researcher Ken Larson on Near Vertical Incident Skywave (NVIS). He will reveal what it is and why it is important, along with a bit of the science behind it. If you have a topic you would like to discuss, please let us know to have it added to the agenda.
We look forward to seeing you there!
