The Ventura County ACS/ARES weekly net is held every Tuesday at 1930 hours on the WD6EBY PVARC repeater network. The two-meter repeater is on ACS Channel 9: 145.200, minus offset with a PL of 127.3. It is linked to the 445.560 repeater, minus offset with a PL of 141.3.
This weekly directed net is open to all hams and includes announcements and information from county ACS/ARES leadership, a calendar of events as well as check ins, news, and announcements from the eight areas.
If you missed checking in to your local area net or are a guest, you are welcome to check in towards the end of the net.
Most areas conduct an Operational Readiness Test (ORT) on the first Tuesday of every even numbered month.
